Mabvuto and his younger brothers and sisters are taken in by a Christian aunt and uncle when their parents are killed in a traffic accident. Yet all the love and concern the new parents show does not seem to be enough to deter Mabvuto from the destructive lifestyle he has chosen. Even knowing that he carries the dreaded syphilis, he still is sexually active and soon impregnates his new girlfriend. In a desperate attempt to run away from those responsibilities, he takes to the streets and is soon caught in the act of stealing. This confrontation with the law and the resulting punishment finally brings him face to face with the results of sin and his own personal need for a Savior.
