Mali, a gentle Thai schoolgirl, suddenly finds herself caught in a vicious web of prostitution and corruption. Though the situation seems hopeless from the onset, her friends and family persist in their search for this innocent girl. As the climax slowly unfolds, it is obvious to all that it is only through the miraculous power of prayer that a daring escape is successfully orchestrated. Even after she is rescued, however, Mali struggles with deep feelings of shame and unworthiness from all that has happened. It is through the persistent witness of her good friend Chai that she slowly realizes that only through the divine power of God’s forgiving love can she truly become clean.
